8:30am.
BANG BANG!
8:30am.
It's too early to wake up~!
BANG BANG BANG!!!
It was Aya's mother knocking at her door asking if she would like to go out for breakfast. Aya wakes up sleepily remembering it is Saturday and her mother doesn't work on Saturdays.
Still, 8:30am is too early for Aya who slept at past 3am yesterday.
Aya manages to roll around a bit before grumbling out at answer for her mother.
She got dressed half-awake and heads out the house with her mother.
Saturday breakfasts.
Saturday breakfasts with her mother usually means that there will be no lunch.
No lunch? And somehow her mother will end up at the same coffee shop every Saturday.
This week mother says "It's too late to go there, we'll go somewhere nearby" and totally U-turns back into the same housing area. Ahhh that cafe again! The same cafe we usually go to for dinner! We're going there for breakfast now!? Dondake!?
Aya and her mother are such regulars there that even the waiters don't take their orders. They write their orders by themselves. Huhu~ Now that's regular.
Half-way through the meal mother suggests, "Why don't you try to ask if they have a job vacancy here?". Ehhh! Working in the same cafe! Mother continued, "You eat here so often, you know the menu very well already!". It's not my fault that I know the menu here, you bring me to eat here so often. Aya then starts to imagine working there. She imagines getting SMSes from her mother saying "We'll have dinner at your workplace before I come to pick you up and go home together <3". Iya! IYAA DAAA!!!
This is jobless Aya trying to look for a decent job to fill up her free time. She went to ask at the nearby sundry shop. The pay is very very measly. The nearby pharmacy! Had no opening.
After the sleepy breakfast, Aya remembered that she needed money for the appointment with the orthodontist that is on Monday. On the way to the special machine her mother saw a sign at the nearby clinic they passed.
"Nurses wanted full-time and part-time."
Mother pointed it out to Aya. Aya says "Ahh~ A job at the clinic doesn't sound so bad~". When they went in to enquire, uwaaaa!! There were so many people waiting to see the doctor. Aya and her mother stood at the entrance.
1 minute.
2 minutes.
3 minutes.
Still nothing. There were three nurses at the counter but none of them asked anything.
Mother managed to catch the attention of one and bravely said "I'd like to make an appointment."
"The doctor is busy," she said rather impatiently.
EHHH??? But isn't that why we asked for an appointment instead!? Mother tried again.
"Is there a number I can contact then?"
*nurse gives impatient look then finally gives the clinic number*
Aya and her mother left the clinic and got into the car to head home.
"You shouldn't work there. The people are not nice," said mother. EHHHHH!!!! It's been decided so fast!!!
This is why 6 months has passed and Aya is still jobless.
Maa maa, lots of people would pay to have so much leisure time eh? Continue rolling Aya-san. Good things might come to you one day.
